Joanna Cho is the author of People Person (THWUP, 13/10/2022). She was born in Daegu, South Korea, and she and her family immigrated to Auckland in 1995. She currently lives in Wellington. She has a BA in English, a graduate diploma in Publishing and a MA in Creative Writing. Her day job title is ‘Publishing Assistant’. When she’s not working she loves to play, particularly outdoors in the sun, or at the pools. These, along with Shin ramyun, Gossip Girl and Moki the Dog, always make her feel better. Dislikes: ankle socks, laryngitis and fan heaters.
