Potentials of Indigenous Futures
SAT 11 NOV · 1:30PM · FREE

The future is ours for the taking, but what shape will it take? Facilitated by Māori Literature Blog's Jordan, this panel will walk backwards into the future to explore the potentials ahead. Visiting the worlds of Tīhema Baker's Turncoat, Kōtuku Titihuia Nuttall's Tauhou and Kahu Kutia's exploration of Māori futurisms through art, writing and her podcast He Kākano Ahau, the panel will discuss the many forms our future may take, and what they mean in context for Indigenous peoples.

Takatāpui Love Stories

Join an intimate selection of indigenous, takatāpui writers in this luxurious kōrero about the ways takatāpuitanga informs and enriches their work. Bring a poem to share - there will be an intimate reading following the kōrero. Priority for indigenous, queer identifying and gender-queer participants.
